Description

Who says school is boring? Not when you have to solve the mystery of spilled milk and strange noises coming from the school lockers. Partial sample text of story (The red text is where your personalized information would be inserted.):
 Jason Smith
has fun at school
(Page 1)

"Today is going to be so much fun," thought Jason Smith of Wytheville. "That's because today, I get to go to school." Earlier that morning Jason had dressed quickly and rushed through his breakfast. "Slow down, Jason," Mom and Dad said laughingly. Jason seemed more excited now than he had ever been before. When Jason arrived at school, he ran up the steps to catch up with the other children. (Page 3)
(Page 4 is illustrated)
Jason ran to his very own locker. As he opened the locker, Jason thought he heard a rustling inside. "Is there something inside my locker?" Jason wondered. "What could it be?" Just then, the teacher walked up and said, "You'd better hurry to class, Jason." Jason decided to close his locker and investigate the noise later. (Page 5)
(Page 6 is illustrated)
Jason was curious about the strange noise, but he joined the other children in the classroom.  It was time for reading class -- one of his favorites!  The teacher opened a big book and said, "Today we're going to study the raccoon.  And at the end of the day, I have a special surprise for you!"  Jason forgot all about the strange noise and tried to figure out what the surprise was going to be.  (Page 7)
(Page 8 is illustrated)
After learning all about raccoons, the children went to the art center.  "I want everyone to paint a picture of a raccoon," said the teacher.  Jason worked very hard on his painting.  When he was done, all the other children admired his painting.  "Jason, that is a wonderful painting of a raccoon," said the teacher.  "You are a very talented artist."  Jason couldn't wait to take the painting home and show it to Mom and Dad. (Page 9)
(Page 10 is illustrated)
During lunchtime, Jason sat at the table with all his very best friends.  They all laughed and shared stories about their summer vacations.  Suddenly, Jason felt something bump against his leg.  Then the table gave a little shake, and a pitcher of milk spilled all over the table.  "There must be someone under the table playing a joke," said Jason.  But when he looked under the table, Jason didn't see anyone.  (Page 11)

Reviewer: Wilma McGlasson from Wytheville, VA United States
My seven year old grandson absolutely loves your books!  I have sent one each year, and he looks forward to receiving them.  Now that he is in school, this was the perfect selection for him.  He enjoys reading his name and the name of his friends/classmates.
Thanks for making it so easy to select the perfect gift!  This is such a wonderful idea!!
